Cookie Policy

Using my website

When you use my website to browse my products and services and view the information I make available, various cookies may be used by me and by third parties to allow the website to function, to collect useful information about visitors and to help improve your user experience. Some of the cookies I use are strictly necessary for my website to function, and I don’t ask for your consent to place these on your computer. My website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave my site, you should note that I do not have any control over those other websites. Therefore, I cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites, and such sites are not governed by my Privacy Policy. You should therefore exercise caution and read the privacy statement applicable to those websites.

Visitor Analytics

Visitor Analytics is a simple website analytics service which measures the traffic and visitors’ general details of my website. By collecting these statistics, a website can make their visitors’ experience better (e.g. which pages they visit and when, where they are approximately located, where a user lands first or if they are coming from a specific referral). As a website owner using Visitor Analytics, I am using cookies to collect data about a visitor’s device type and screen size, approximate location, browser, OS, IPs, page visits, bounce rate, conversions and popular content on the website. All this data is pseudoanonymized and Visitor Analytics will never use the collected data to identify individual users or to match it with additional information on an individual user. Each visitor has control over their cookies placement. For further information, please check Visitor Analytics’ Terms Of Use, Cookie Information and Opt-Out / Do Not Track.

Managing your cookies

There are various ways that you can control and manage your cookies. Please be aware that any settings you change will not just affect my website but will apply to all websites that you visit (unless you choose to block cookies from individual sites). The settings you change will only apply to the device on which you change them and will not apply across all your other devices. If you want to opt out of cookies on all your devices, you will need to separately change the settings on each of your devices.

Most internet browsers will allow you to:

  • see what cookies you have and delete them on an individual basis

  • block third party cookies

  • block all cookies from being set

  • delete all cookies when you close your browser.

You should note that any preferences will be lost if you delete all cookies but be aware, that if you block cookies completely, many other websites will not work properly and some functionality will be lost. To learn more about how to manage your cookies, please refer to the Help pages for your internet browser.

Cookies and Personal Data

Cookies do not collect things such as your name or email address, but they do collect a unique user identifier code. This is a random sequence of numbers and letters which I can use to link information collected by the cookies back to you without the cookies collecting your name or email address. This enables me to identify your device so that I can improve your experience and make sure your settings are remembered correctly. This allows me to use the information collected by the cookies to understand more about your use of my website, and in time, help me make my website more relevant to you and other visitors. Any personal data that I may collect when you visit my website is covered by my Privacy Policy.

Updates to this Cookie Policy

I regularly review and, if appropriate, update this cookie policy from time to time, and as my services and use of personal data evolves. If I want to make use of cookies in a way not identified here, I will update this Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy to reflect any changes. I will update the version number and date of this document each time it is changed.
